Dear Diary - Talk about a feeling of incongruity…sitting outdoors, lazing back, enjoying the warmth of the sun, but surrounded by snow. Eyes closed…I could be on the beach. Eyes open…it's a wholde different type of beauty…
Dear Diary - Just spent 6 hours on the bus from Melbourne and waiting to transfer on to Dinner Plain. Cold, tired, hungry…but overawed by the beauty of the surroundings…snow, mountains, fresh,crisp atmosphere…

Dear Diary - Cold day but never-the-less not too cold to go for a bit of a beach walk. Was surprised to discover how many people were heading off to go scuba diving on such an atypical beachy day. The boats, cold, lonely, symmetry of placement.
Dear Diary - One of the biggest toilet roll towers I have seen in a long time (especially for a restaurant). I was a bit concerned that it was in a restaurant loo (as if they might need it all) … but, no need - the food was very fine indeed…
