Nikolai - Dinner Plain.
Saturday, July 31, 2004, 11:42 AM

Dear Diary - Meet Nikolai - I always had a bit of a fear about the sled type dogs…Thought they were a bit mean and still had trouble shaking off their wolf heritage. Nikolai (and a few others not in shot) have completely turned my thinking around…

Crystal Creek - Dinner Plain.
Saturday, July 31, 2004, 11:05 AM

Dear Diary - Talk about a feeling of incongruity…sitting outdoors, lazing back, enjoying the warmth of the sun, but surrounded by snow. Eyes closed…I could be on the beach. Eyes open…it's a wholde different type of beauty…

Flinders Pier Area.
Saturday, July 10, 2004, 2:14 PM

Dear Diary - Cold day but never-the-less not too cold to go for a bit of a beach walk. Was surprised to discover how many people were heading off to go scuba diving on such an atypical beachy day. The boats, cold, lonely, symmetry of placement.

Shed - Flinders.
Saturday, July 10, 2004, 1:50 PM

Dear Diary - One of the biggest toilet roll towers I have seen in a long time (especially for a restaurant). I was a bit concerned that it was in a restaurant loo (as if they might need it all) … but, no need - the food was very fine indeed…
