Legs and Distant Boats - Rottnest Island.
Thursday, January
17, 2008, 3:21
PM
Dear Diary - I am distracted in my snapping of a group of distant boats by her legs as she gently floats by, the refractive qualities of the water elongating them with a certain beautifying yet alien quality...

Woman Hiding in Vineyard 2 - Margaret River Area.
Saturday, January
12, 2008, 12:07
PM
Dear Diary - wandering through the vineyard, casually considering the virtues of a decent red wine, I decided to snap a shot of the vines in all their bacchanalian potential... what do you know...? She was there... And I thought it was simply the early afternoon's wanderings and wonderings that were triggering a waking sopor, the generation of a daytime hallucination... But, no... She was there... hiding amongst the vines... Unless my waking dreams transfer into the physical reality found in my film...

Thursday, January 03, 2008, 11:22
AM

Dear Diary - legs, red shoes, shadow...cooling in the reflections thrown up by the rippling shallows...the perfect place to be at the tail end of a summer's day...

Legs: Lorne.
Tuesday, January 02, 2007, 11:45
AM
Dear Diary - it's important to find one's own space and lay claim to it - a relaxing and comfortable vantage spot from which one can observe the passing action...the comings and goings...the dynamics of interactivity or the gentleness of solitude...beach cricket, run laughing and splashing through the water, grab a board and tackle the waves...close your eyes, lay back, soak in the warmth and slip temporarily into oblivion...
