Her Arm Silhouette.
Sunday, May 25, 2008, 1:20 PM

Dear Diary - The warmth of the glowing light is interrupted and the beauty of the scene shifts subtly to infinity, startled into glorious awareness, drowning in all that it means to be confronted and visually caressed by the silhouette of her arm...

Her Arm, Cooling - Rotthest Island.
Thursday, January 17, 2008, 2:56 PM

Dear Diary - the sun plays with the reflections on the rippling surface of the water and illuminates the form of her arm. There is an exquisite balance between the gentle, cooling of the water and the warming caress of the sun's heat.

Both seem to undulate in a gentle harmony that smooths against her skin and creates an osmotic give and take - the balance of perfection held in that place between two extremes of simple pleasure...

Walk The Bridge to the Ferris Wheel.
Sunday, August 05, 2007, 6:12 PM

Dear Diary - you may wonder why this one falls into the "Her Arm" category. Take a close look at the bottom left hand corner of the snap - that's her arm! She was there, holding onto the bridge rail, and I didn't even notice! I was too intent on trying to catch the passage of someone heading over the bridge to the ferris wheel...

Her Arm: Tanning.
Thursday, January 11, 2007, 1:05 PM

Dear Diary - she is content here, eyes closed against the brightness of the warming sun, her breathing as one with the gentle rhythm of the waves, this ambience of forever encasing her psyche as it does forever, for-all, where-ever we are...
and into this moment I step, the click and the hum of my shutter and rollers evokes a minor tremor, a blink, in her communion with eternity...
the ripples of my intrusion dissipate...the slight flicker of a smile crosses her lips...she returns to that place where there is nothing more or less than the joy of feeling the sun on her arm once again...

Her Arm at the Pier to Pub.
Saturday, January 06, 2007, 1:12 PM

Dear Diary - I love the little surprises that life throws my way...a lot of people think that because I'm getting on in years, having had my 15 minutes of fame, that I don't relish those moments of beauty or synchronicity that sneak up on you out of the blue...nothing could be further from the truth...as I grow older, my bellows start to stiffen with age and my rollers grind a little less easily, but I always look forward with anticipation to those moments of surprise to carry me out of the everyday...they become more and more important as my shelf life diminishes...
what could be more intoxicating than to realise that the arm blocking one's view is her arm...
she is here...
my shutter quivers in anticipation...

Her Arm In The Elevator.
Saturday, November 04, 2006, 3:45 PM

Dear Diary - I step into the elevator and the glare of the polished chrome walls harshly reflecting the flourescent lighting assaults the sensitivity of my old lens. Through the incandescent haze I catch a glimpse of her arm...
